Description

Besides the Hot Docs festival, IDFA is considered the most important documentary film festival in the world, and it is, in terms of the number of visitors, also the biggest. Each year the festival showcases the cream of the crop from the world of documentary film and serves as a key venue for meetings between documentary filmmakers, producers, and distributors.

Joris Ivens Competition (feature-length documentary films)
Silver Wolf Competition (documentary films under 60 min.)
Silver Cub Competition (documentary films under 30 min.)
First Appearance Competition (documentary debuts)
