Description
CineMart started as the first platform of its kind offering filmmakers a chance to pitch their projects to industry professionals. Each year, CineMart’s organizers invite the directors and producers of roughly 45 projects to pitch their projects to the attendees – co-producers, bankers, fund representatives, sales agents, distributors, programming executives, and others. Feature-length films in any stage of production (from a completed screenplay to projects with the last day of shooting behind them) may apply. In the past, the following Czech projects have participated in CineMart: Something Like Happiness (2005), d.: Bohdan Sláma; Key to the Dream, Saša Gedeon; The Substitute, d.: Martin Krejčí; Surviving Life, d.: Jan Švankmajer; Country Teacher, d.: Bohdan Sláma.
Held in conjunction with CineMart is the Rotterdam Lab, a 5-day workshop where young producers can gain know-how and establish important contacts for their future careers.
