Synopsis

The basic theme of the film is a relationship between a woman and a town, their dialogue, their passings and meetings. The episodic film introduces the encounters of the magical town and the woman in four seasons, moods, rhythms and stories. The main character, a Slovak student named Julie, searches for hope, knowledge and love. Accompanying her through the town is the mysterious figure of “Jecminek”, who helps ever so slightly to fulfil the destiny. The film holds traces a fairytale fantasy, Moravian lyricism and something you have not yet seen in any other Czech film.
