Synopsis

Monoculus is a love story set in the times of the Hussite Wars. It tells of the fate of a boy called Martin, the bastard son of Jan Žižka of Trocnov. After Martin’s mother dies with a knife in her chest, murdered for hush money given to her by the hero’s father Jan Žižka, Martin decides to find him. He wants to show him that he is his son. Or more aptly, that he is worthy of being his son.
