Synopsis
No Mercy is a movie about the dark, hidden corners of our souls, about fear within, about the agony of losses and the hidden brutality that accompanies every single step we take. An ordinary Saturday night that ends with dreadful images of violence and a brutally murdered 17-yearold gir. The murderers are easily found and they confess to the homicide right after their arrest. Even though it looks like a typical “crime of passion,” TV reporter Richard arrives to cover the story a few days later. He is interested in the symbolism of the death of a teenage girl who was stabbed and beaten to death by her ex-boyfriend and his friends right in front of her parent’s windows. As Richard and his crew unravel the thin fibres that linked the victim’s and her murderers’ families, friends and acquaintances, the pieces gradually fall into the mosaic, creating a curious and obscure picture that no one wants to believe. Our greatest fear comes from pictures that take place within. For the first time in his life Richard begins to fear, yet he knows he can not stop. The murderers are in prison, the report is finished, life is returning to normality and somewhere in the streets… Does anyone really want to know the truth when even sensing it evokes so much fear?
