Synopsis
As a child David’s father, Jiri, left him. Twenty years later David repeats his father’s mistake; after divorcing his wife, David doesn’t see his son for a year. Now, back on his feet, he is determined to rebuild the relationship. He has invited his son, Ondra on a trip to their family cottage in the Sumava. However, Ondra has only agreed to go, if his grandfather, Jiri can go along. Both men are hiding secrets. Neither man wants to confess to their mistakes. The film tells the story of a family holiday, an unwelcome guest and the lies we tell to avoid facing up to the truth.
