Synopsis
The elements that rule Earth – Air, Fire, Earth and Water – are on their “regular inspection tour.” We are following Water, in the form of the
Rain Fairy. Traversing the land dressed like a poor woman, she learns that people really have begun focusing mainly on money and that love
and goodness are disappearing. The Rain Fairy is a classic romantic fairy tale, but one that deviates from contemporary story clichés.
“My goal is to create a grand film for both the silver screen and holiday TV programming. Jan Míka’s screenplay is witty but the humor is not
cheap; it is touching but leaves room for imagination. With those ingredients, the film can reach all audiences and transcend regions. The realm
of supernatural phenomena provides for a truly visual spectacle. Milan Cieslar, director
