Jan Svěrák's fantasy comedy conceives of television as a vampire-like entity capable of slurping up human energy. A young man discovers that he has lost strength after participating in a television poll. He soon realizes that a parallel world exists and that his TV alter ego is living it up. At that time one of the most expensive Czech film used digital effects to create a TV world.
