Synopsis
Otakáro Schmidt's magical production about the end of a critical love between a pair of entertainers is a sensual geyser of colorful images, captivating music, and unorthodox humor. The rigorous overstyling with its Felliniesque touches and dramaturgic freedom brought out the comic side of the many Czech stars cast in nontraditional roles (Boleslav Polívka, Zuzana Stivínová, Veronika Žilková, Jiří Lábus).
