Synopsis
Cameraman F. A. Brabec's poetic horror film adapts The Bouquet, Karel Jaromír Erben's classic work drawn FROM Czech folk tales. Set in idyllic surrounding during various seasons of the year, the film takes seven of Erben's best-known poems and elaborates each of them using a different style (though all are linked by the motif of traditional folk ceremonies). Overall, the grotesque and surrealistic 'Wedding Shirt' (starring Karel Roden as the dead soldier) excels among the rest.
