Synopsis
Petr Václav's psychological work dramatizes the last phase of a disintegrating relationship between an ambitious architect (Karel Roden) and a sensitive translator (Lenka Vlasáková). Subject to depression, the young woman eventually finds a solution to her troubles in gaining independence. The film's masterful direction, superb performances, and quality script, camerawork, and editing make it an exceptional work.
