Synopsis

A film inspired by an encounter with director Vláčil. The novice set off to see a retiring film director, a master, the work of which we have always respected, in oder to approximate the thinking, feeling and output through his film; therefore to make a film itself. It was the work of circumstances that he has remained with old man and he has forgotten about the film making for some time. As the old director had died our novice felt lonely. The time during which they were seeing each other fulfilled him but he didn't know how to keep his resolution, even though he knew how to make a film.
