Synopsis
In October 2002, Prague`s Ježek and Čížek homeless theater ensemble set out on the road to tour Czech villages damaged by the floods; they came bearing the motto: "Homeless people for homeless people." With the help of a text by D. I. Charms, their aim was to offer their own experiences, to disembark with hope and help, and wash away what even the flood waters could not taboo and prejudice against themselves. The film`s key motif is home: from the homeless person`s perception of home, through villagers stubborn clinging to specific homes, to the insecurity of home as a sojourn in this world as experienced, in the weakness of age, by residents of a senior citizens home.
