Synopsis

An animated erotic fantasy musical… Le Carnaval des Animaux presents erotica lightly, with exaggeration, humorously. In the same vein is the music of Camille Saint-Saens, which serves as the soundtrack. It resounds with glaring parodic motifs, citing compositions of other composers. In the film and the music alike are sprightly, mischievous, lyrical, and even slightly wistful passages. They ultimately humorously relate a relationship between a man and a woman. Le Carnaval des Animaux should entertain the viewer, should be a playful celebration of erotica, of men and women.
