Young prisoner Micki escapes from prison in order to audition for a new musical, where the lead role is to be played by the queen of musicals Karin, with whom he fell in love while behind bars. At the audition Micki is not chosen for the part, and moreover he learns that Karin is dating the musical’s main sponsor… A film about how love ferments behind the scenes of a musical.
