News from the State Fund Council 2nd quarter 2010
The State Fund Council has announced, that the public funding od Czech cinematography is very unstable. The sources of support will be soon even more in danger, after the ending of payments from Czech television in november 2011. The State Fund Council appeals responsilble authorities, regarding to this critical situation.
Between April and June 2010, the State Fund Council has discussed 104 applications and supported 66 projects with total amount of 91.650.000,- Kč. The State Fund Council also started to support minority coproductions and allocated 1.000.000 Eur for this support in 2010. Two projects has recieved subvention- Polish co-production YUMA and slovak co-production Cigáni.
