Deadline for applications to EAST EUROPEAN FORUM on 3rd september

The East European Forum is the region's largest meeting of East European documentary filmmakers with Europe's and North America´s leading commissioning editors, distributors, buyers and film fund representatives. Directors and independent producers offer their projects for co-production, pre-sale or other forms of financial support. Since its foundation in 2001, the Forum has become a prestigious meeting place that has hosted 524 East European filmmakers and producers, 72 commissioning editors and dozens of international distributors, buyers and festival programmers. Over 50 documentary Films have been completed with the direct support of the East European Forum, number of them have been awarded at the prestigious international festivals. Along with the East Silver documentary market, the East European Forum Forum opens the industry section at the Jihlava IDFF. Photo: East European Forum 2009
