Film Industry Support Programme

Thirty-four projects have already passed the cultural test, a condition for submitting an application for incentives under the newly approved Film Industry Support Programme. A total of 12 projects have already submitted their applications, and the Czech Ministry of Culture has allocated the amounts they will be rebated (up to 20% of the production costs spent in the CR) once they’ve wrapped their shoots in the Czech Republic. The projects include Mission: Impossible 4 and the war drama Red Tails, as well as Czech efforts such as Alois Nebel or Václav Havel’s directorial debut, Leaving.
