Alois Nebel in the Venice Film Festival's main programme
One of the most prestigious festivals in the world has announced its main programme.
The recently completed and long-awaited film Alois Nebel will be presented in the "Out of Competition" section at the 68th annual Venice International Film Festival. Thus this animated feature film created by Tomáš Luňák, Jaroslav Rudiš and Jaromír Švejdík is celebrating great international success even before its premiere in Czech cinemas, which will take place this September.

The festival, which will kick off on August 31st with a new film from director George Clooney entitled The Ides of March, will run until September 10th. Czech cinemagoers will first see Alois Nebel less than three weeks after its premiere in Venice; the film will be released to Czech cinemas on September 29th. Alois Nebel is the first film by the Negativ production company to be directly selected for the main programme.
