Fresh Film Fest is nigh, what Czech films will it bring us?
The eighth annual Fresh Film Fest, a European festival focussed on international first features and student films, will take place from August 24th to 28th in Prague. The competitions of feature film debuts and student films are traditionally accompanied by tributes and retrospectives, distribution premieres, the presentation of films by renowned directors, concerts, workshops, theatre, discussions and exhibitions. Fresh Film Fest presents around 150 films in 4 categories. Fresh Generation, Confrontations, Theatre Optique and Fresh Czech are the categories that will be presenting the newest films of young contemporary Czech filmmakers such as Cagey Tigers, Symptoms, Day of the Dragon, Bastards and Advent. Films that were part of our Czech Short Films DVD, including Rousek and Graffitiger, will also be presented here.
