Anna and her husband spend every summer at their cottage outside Prague. They have been married for ages and their marriage is not what it used to be. Anna´s husband spends most of the time playing cards with friends in the local pub or making small models of ships of matches, and Anna is almost invisible to him. One day, an elegant gentleman Artur appears in the village, whom everyone expects to be the new owner of the local rundown castle. Anna immediately falls for him. Artur is elegant, thoughtful and gives her the attention she missed for so long. Anna escapes from her monotonous life towards the romantic adventures with Artur more and more often.
