Pasha lives in a small Russian town and is a beloved teacher at the local primary school. When the invasion of Ukraine begins, his job changes completely. He is forced to organise activities in accordance with the new war curriculum and document them on camera. The demands on teachers increase, Pasha's former pupils leave for the front and the atmosphere in the town thickens. Frustrated, Pasha decides to fight as best as he can. He starts filming not only state-mandated activities, but also everyday life in and out of school to show the world the impact of the war and the regime on the community. Mr. Nobody Against Putin provides a unique insight into the Russian propaganda machinery and tells the gripping story of a man who decided to risk everything in order not to compromise his values.
