Viliam Poltikovic's feature-length documentary film embarks on an extraordinary journey into the questions surrounding death and the fear associated with it. Guided by the story narrator Jaroslav Dušek, it explores how we can use the fear of death to exploit and control people's behaviour. The film looks at different cultural approaches to the subject of death, including those that do not see death as a bogeyman. Modern science, as well as traditional wisdom, offer alternative perspectives on death that can change our understanding of life. Through the personal stories of people who have overcome their fear of death, the film shows us that attitudes towards death can affect the quality of our lives.
