After the sudden death of his wife, the film's protagonist, Mr. Jochec, must take on the responsibility of caring for his two teenage children—his daughter Vanesa and his son Petr, who has a severe autism spectrum disorder. Previously often working away from home, Mr. Jochec now has to manage everything on his own, keeping his family together. While many fathers in such situations choose to leave, he decides to face the challenge head-on, enduring a daily struggle—from providing devoted care for both children and securing the family’s financial stability to running the household. The film captures the Jochec family's efforts to lead a normal life, exploring the boundaries of love and parenthood and showing how each family member copes with their new but difficult reality...
