40 Roles moves between dialogue, situation comedy to the edge of the genre, documenting the world of today's creators. The film deliberately crosses the line of a feature film to become an authentic statement. But everything is in perspective and with a sense of humor. 40 Roles are primarily significant Czech actors, whose number and quality make the film a unique event. Each acting role had its own roll of 16 mm film on which the situation was filmed.
