In the 2025 spring issue of CZECH FILM magazine, we focus on films screened at the Berlinale and the Sundance FF. The newest piece in the ongoing series of articles introducing young filmmakers focuses on Tereza Nvotová and Michal Hogenauer. We offer a sneak peek into the production of three upcoming films: Backwoods by Evženie Brabcová, Franz by Agnieszka Holland, and Summer School, 2001 by Dužan Duong. We inform about the transformation of the Czech Film Fund into the Czech Audiovisual Fund. In an interview with editor Anna Johnson Ryndová, we discuss her work on Broken Voices by Ondřej Provazník. And lastly, we introduce the production company Cinepoint.
