A cabaret dancer from Berlin is hired as a decoy in a highly confidential mission, ordered to stop anti-Hitler radio transmissions from a secluded Hotel in Czechoslovakia. She meets an unlikely hero.
In January 1935, Alfréd and Edith, arrive at the Hotel Moldau in Czechoslovakia, pretending to be German film stars on a romantic trip. But the hotel is typically only a summer destination, and apart from a few employees and the owners, there is only one other guest - Rudolf Formis (under a fake name and pretending to be a composer) who secretly broadcasts anti-Hitler messages to Germany from here).The atmosphere in the hotel and between all our characters is strange and escalating as everyone seems to be hiding something. Alfred, a dispatched SA agent, is tasked with destroying Formis' radio, but instead seems to strike up a friendship with him. When he finally decides to escape with Edith, his colleague Werner shows up and tries to bring the whole covert mission back on tracks
