A young doctor, Blazej, is taken by his fiancée, Ivana, on a surprise trip to the mountains. Untold things between them come to the surface at high altitudes as the weather worsens. Blazej is trying to get a promotion at work and is considering moving to another country. Ivana wants to stay and start a family. Despite their differing views, they manage to get to the place where they first met, only to find a "cold" dinner waiting for them. Deep in the mountains, they are the only ones who can save their relationship and maybe the life of another visitor.
