Martial arts champion Osvald (33) accidentally injures a girl on the street and is expelled from the sports federation. Unable to travel and participate in Asian tournaments, Osvald is stuck in his desolate Eastern European hometown, tormented by guilt. He spends his days in a cheap restaurant called China Sea owned by his only friend, a Taiwanese immigrant named Ju-Long. In court-ordered group therapy, he meets and falls in love with a mysterious woman named Skaiste. The taste of a better life takes Osvald to the moon, but his past catches up with him. Clinging to what he has, Osvald resorts to violence again, this time not by accident.
