Through his dynamic work, choreographer Jiří Kylián expresses multitudes. Fundamental themes within our existence. His fascination and reverence for the fate of others. His boundless, singular humor. His humble and gentle nature, which at once complements and contrasts with his larger-than-life personality. Jiří Kylián creates choreographic works for his longtime partner, the German dancer Sabine Kupferberg, with whom he has been living and collaborating with for fifty years. The film centers on the creation of his final work. And for the first time in his life, at seventy-five years old, Jiří will accompany Sabine in performing his swan song.
