Kristýna Kopřivová studied political philosophy and humanities (Prague, London, BA), contemporary art and curatorial studies (Czech Republic, Israel, MA) and FAMU, documentary directing. She has worked as an external journalist for contemporary art magazines and radio (Artalk, Atelier, Czech Radio 3 Vltava), lecturer (e.g. UMAKART: You Make Art), curator (e.g. To Let Get Occupied NoD Prague, Who is gonna pay it? (Fair Trade Palace, Prague), film programme (National Gallery Prague), she worked as an assistant director (e.g. Two faces of Spartakiad, Czech TV). Kristýna is interested in the Israel and Palestine area and is currently a PhD. candidate in Media Studies (Discourse studies) about Palestinian identity within Palestinian videoart.
